Stock Trading Basics
Many people believe that the stock market is too risky –
yes, there is an element of risk, and yes you could potentially
lose your capital… but traders who take the time to
educate themselves and fine-tune their trading skills have
a far better chance of getting much better returns on their
capital than those who opt for 100% safe investments. It’s also
important to note that often, when one leaves their money in a
bank, the actual returns from the interest do not even cover
the cost of inflation – in some cases it’s possible to actually
lose money in real terms because inflation is higher than the
general interest received.
Trade = Buy or Sell
Remember however, if you really want to become a
“professional trader” – one who is savvy enough to beat the
market and essentially make a living from trading then you
need to learn as much as you can about how the market works,
how to pick stocks, the part psychology plays in driving
markets and how to create a trading system that’s right for
you.
The first step to trading is to invest in yourself and
your education. To offer an overused yet apt phrase –
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
